Horrible experience with this company. All I can say is read the fine print and ignore what the sales guy tries to pitch you.

I got suckered into a 5 year contract, and was paying installments on the “equipment” and monthly payments for the monitoring. The hard drive for the camera storage got fried by lightning. They refused to help pay or replace it. I was told I needed to pay $1600 for a new one. (Mind you, I still needed 3 years to pay off the old one…)

I decided to quit them, and called to ask how much it would cost to pay out the stupid equipment so I could cancel. They said $600. I wasn’t ready at that point, but I called 2 weeks later ready to cancel expecting $600. They said, no, you owe $650, plus $1000. I said that’s outrageous. Their explanation was- installment payout. When they charged my card, they charged $1650, plus $630. Total of $2280!!!!

I filed a complaint with BBB, with my credit card company and with them.

Well…. That’s not the end…. 3 nights ago they send an email at 10pm at night…. Final bill: $1880!!!!! ON TOP OF THE $2280 I’VE ALREADY PAID!!!!! (Supposedly this is canceling the “monitoring” services. I have never been more taken advantage of by a company.

NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN WILL I USE ADT!!!!

I want to share our experience we had with an ADT service representative. His name is Elian. He works the South Broward area. He displayed professionalism, expertise, and knowledge. I am soooooooo, proud of our younger adults displaying character, high standards, and a persuasive attitude. I am saying all of this, because this is what Elian displayed to my husband and I while he was in our home. Keep it up Elian, and you will continue to prosper positively.

I keep finding your team members on my home cameras attempting to solicit bussiness, I live in a no-soliciting community. Stop doing this or I will file formal complaints with broward sheriff and broward better bussiness bureau

I have been trying to cancel my account for days, either the phone line is not picked up or I get transferred and the wait time is an hour and still they don’t pick up,or,disconnect the line. I opened this account 20 years ago when they were a great Company, now they are worthless. Im still trying to cancel. There are other Companies out there, don’t pick this one.

Well the problem continues, I paid the last bill through Oct 12 and now I get another bill, I called and asked for a Manager or Supervisor and the answer is always the same, they are in a meeting. The person that answered the call hard to understand and after arguing about it, he said he’ll give the credit but no confirmation since it has to be approved by the supervisor or manager and they were still in a “Meeting”. Nothing but a waste of time dealing with this Company.

So far I’ve had ADT for about 2 or 3 weeks and it’s working perfectly. I’m happy with the service but most importantly, I have to say that Mr. Aldo Rodriguez is not only a outstanding professional but a good person as well. He made the purchase process easy and simple for me.
I 100% recommend this service for any home, and I will also recommend Mr. Rodriguez and his excellent service.

Aldo the representative of ADT went through my home advising what equipment would be best for the safety for my family. He was extremely professional, kind and not a pushy salesperson. I trusted him with his opinion and my family. I extremely happy with the service I received and ADT. I would recommend him and this company to others.

Over priced. Most equipment broke within the first month. They wanted to charge me to have a technician come back out AND charge me for new equipment!
In addition, i have been on the phone for 2 hours trying to cancel ADT.
DO NOT use ADT. Much cheaper and reliable home security found on amazon ring.
