If any prospective customer knew how Jeffrey was conducting himself in my interactions with him, no one would want to do business with him. I asked Jeffrey to check a faulty temperature sensor that he had installed because it was not indicating the humidity levels. He arrived on June 7th to check the temp sensor. Upon arriving, he mentioned to me that I have a “head whacker” by my front porch because I had a hanging flowerpot. He saw the flowerpot and was aware of it. Later, he claimed that he hit his head on the flowerpot with pure venom in his voice and he continued to repeat it to me for several minutes. I was taken aback by his outburst of anger because he saw the flowerpot and was joking about it a few minutes prior. After hearing him berate me repeatedly, I decided that I needed to ask him whether he was going to fix the temp sensor. Shortly after, he ripped the temp sensor out of the wall and damaged the wall (see photo). He did not apologize for damaging the wall and acted as if nothing happened. At this point, I decided Jeffrey crossed the line and his behavior was unacceptable. I asked him to watch how he was speaking in my home and his response was that he was frustrated and angry and that I should look for another contractor. My reply was, I have no problems finding another contractor (which I did) and he should pay me the money that he owes me. As soon as I mentioned him paying me the money that he owes me, he proceeded to apologize as if he had noticed the terrible blunder he had committed by repeatedly insulting me which would cause him to lose a steady stream of income. To defuse the situation, I told Jeffrey that he can try to resolve the temp sensor issue. He walked over to me and apologized a few more times and mentioned that he is blind in one eye, is bald, and that he was referred in the past to see a psychiatrist. As this was not the first time that Jeffrey exhibited anger, I understood this to be his go-to victim card line when he does something wrong because he always has an excuse. Two years ago he had to connect to my wi-fi to install a camera, but he was having difficulties logging in. Despite giving him the correct password, he insisted that I was giving him the wrong wi-fi password, told me that he has been doing this for years and emphatically stated that I am wrong. I asked him to let me see what he was entering and lo and behold, he was adding an extra character to the password. That day, his own electrician remarked to me that other customers have been complaining to him about Jeffrey because of his rude outburst and accusatory way of speaking.
The only reasons I gave Jeffrey a chance was because of (1) sympathy for his grievances when we met and (2) a few years ago there were no security alarm businesses willing to take on an existing security system from another provider. After I told Jeffrey that I would switch to another contractor, he made things difficult. I provided him with a written notification to stop services effective June 30th. Despite asking him several times, he did not want to set the panel to default so that another contractor could take over. After much back and forth, Jeffrey wanted to talk with the new contractor, but at this point, the prospective contractors that I was chatting with, did not want anything to do with him when they found out how he was making things difficult for me. His contract is designed for him to take money that he hasn’t earned. I paid for 6 months in advance of services (July- Dec.), but, after the incident, I decided not to work with him. If he were someone that stood by his name, he would have refunded me the money that he has not earned. Since he will deny everything in his response, I ask him to answer the following questions in his reply to this review.
1) Please describe in detail why you apologized to me in person and on the phone after your outbursts of anger in my home?
2) Why would you keep money that you have not worked for or earned for a living?
3) As a business owner, do you think it is acceptable to have a bad temper?

I would not do any business with these people!! Not very trusting and very rude when trying to communicate!! Purchased an item from me that was brand new, said it didn’t work. Once I received it back, it was tampered with. When I asked about it all I got in return was “ CEASE AND DESIST ALL COMMUNICATION TO US!” VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE! WHY NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION IF YOU DID NOT TAMPER WITH IT?
