The installer took his clothes off in my basement, and I walked into the room!
I was told that the installation would take 2 days, during regular business hours. (I work from home so this was important information to me) The first day they worked outside as my family was sick, understandable. The installer did not want to come back the next day and he said that the ONLY other day available for the next 2 months was my birthday. OK fine. On my birthday at 11am he says "I'm not going to be able to finish today unless I work really late, I'll have to come back another day." I thought you didn't have any other days for 2 months, and that's why you had to come on my birthday?
Then he says, "Well, because you didn't get the wireless system it takes longer to install. "There's a wireless version?, why wasn't I offered the wireless system? I hear this after you've drilled holes through my entire house?" WOW! OK!
Then, I go down to the basement to ask him a question and he tells me that he was changing his clothes because he was hot!!!!!

THEN, after all that, I left to take a break, I came back home at 2:45 to discover that he is FINISHED! EARLY!
It was a nice surprise, but why did we have to go through all that nonsense only to have him finish early? Way early, like hours early...
They were discussing using a new modem, or using my existing one, I requested that they not touch ANY of my existing equipment because I do computer training all over the world and I have an elaborate system. I later discovered that they used my equipment and I did not see a change in the bill, in fact they overcharged me by $160.00!
They never gave me the signs for the house/yard they promised either. Now I've had disturbing dreams of men in my basement taking off their clothes...Happy Birthday.
I hope your experience is better than mine. I don't really feel more secure, that's for sure.

12-3-24 Update: I forgot to mention that the installer broke my door and never told us about it.
They've had it for 2 weeks and never followed up until I initiated the call.
I've also asked for 2 weeks that someone show us how to disable the annoying trip wires that go off all day long. No response.
The owner offered me a small insulting credit for the installer removing his clothing in my basement. Unbelieveably insulting!

Doyle security is wonderful. We have fire and security monitoring through them. We have had multiple alarms, thankfully all have been false. When there has been an alarm I have received a phone call immediately to make sure if it is a true emergency or if there has been some type of issue. Have always been treated very kind and courteously. I highly recommend Doyle for your monitoring needs.

You have always responded promptly to our concerns and questions even when our concern was generated by a normal change in some aspect of our service. The person that handles our account is always available to put our minds at ease when when we are notified that there is a required action that will be necessary. He walked me through everything, had to run back to the office to get new equipment that I wanted to add as well and did all this with a smile. What a great experience. He walked me through the app as well and answered any questions I had! If the service is going to be anything like the setup.. I’ll be a lifetime customer!
