I scheduled a new patient appointment in March 2024, with the earliest available date being August 2024—a five-month wait. The day before my appointment, I received a confirmation text, only to be contacted two hours later and informed that the doctor I was scheduled to see was going on medical leave. They rescheduled me for February 2025—nearly a year from when I initially booked the appointment.

Today, I received another call informing me that the doctor would remain unavailable, my appointment was being canceled altogether, and there were no other providers to reschedule me with—except for a male doctor, who I cannot see due to personal reasons. Essentially, after almost a year of waiting, I was told I’m out of luck and need to find care elsewhere.

While I understand medical leave is beyond their control, the way this situation has been handled is completely unacceptable. Why was there no backup plan? Why are there no other doctors accepting new patients in the entire practice? The lack of options or alternative solutions highlights extremely poor planning and an apparent disregard for patients’ needs.

Additionally, the front desk staff were unhelpful and dismissive. They showed little understanding of the stress this situation has caused me—not just from the excessive delays but from the complete disregard for the medical concerns I’ve been waiting months to address. Finding a PCP anywhere already involves long waitlists, and now I’m back at square one due to their inability to plan ahead or bring in additional providers to meet demand.

This experience has been an absolute nightmare. Scheduling is abysmal, customer service is subpar, and it’s clear that patient care is not a priority here. Avoid this practice if you need reliable or compassionate medical care.

After a poor experience at a different facility with a PCP who only met with me during the first appointment and never again in the next 8+ years (I was only ever seen by nurse practitioners), I decided to switch to a new PCP. I stumbled upon Dr. Linda Brown’s profile during my research and based on the excellent reviews on various health sites, I moved forward with the switch. This was the best decision I could have made. For the first time, I had a doctor who actually met with me on every visit, is attentive, caring, highly empathetic, and who takes the time to listen and discuss options with me. I highly recommend Dr. Brown!

After 4 years of searching for a new primary care, I found Main Street Bolton Primary Care. I had been driving over 1.5 hours to go to RI for my doctor during this time. They took me in on time and Dr. Noble was amazing. We talked through my concerns during my physical and she asked how far I wanted to travel to see a specialist, I don't mind travelling (as you can tell), so her recommendation in Worcester wasn't bad. She took my feelings on vaccinations into account and just spoke to me for a few minutes on the benefits vs the risks. She did not pressure me or make me feel like I was making the wrong decision. I am so happy to have found this office.

I came here in search of a new primary care after switching insurance companies. Dr. Noble came off as condescending and even argumentative. Being from Bolton, this location would have been perfect, but I will not be returning.

Also, she worked in Worcester for many years before this, so all the specialists she has knowledge of are out that way. Not a convenient location every time I need a referral.

One positive is they took me in on time for my appointment, with almost no waiting.
