Their reports are timely, accurate, and very informative of all information that happens within their coverage times. We have had zero incidents since we have contracted with them. Brian is great to work with and is amazing in his communications, no matter what time you call or need him, he makes sure he gets done what you need/request. I live at a community that has Spear Security- it’s nice to see the security guard checking on all the areas, including the gym area. I often see him walking on my way back to my unit, his name is William, he is the so kind, and always asks how we are doing. I hope he continues to be at our community, it’s so comforting to see his car making rounds with his flashing night when I come home late from work. We appreciate you William! Great job! So happy my apartment complex has Spear!

I would like to make a comment about the guard that works the mornings and afternoon shift the lady guard. Maybe needs to be transferred as she spends a lot of the time mingling with the bad tenants. Which is unprofessional. Loud Behavior outside cursing yelling up to the tenants on their balconies. Sometimes it's best to shift them around that way they won't get so familiar. Thank you!

I’ve had multiple negative experiences with Spear Security at the property they’re contracted to secure (Forge Denver). Their staff is highly unprofessional and consistently fails to perform their duties at even a basic level.

Here’s what I’ve witnessed firsthand:

• Staff frequently distracted, spending time on their phones texting, calling, or watching movies instead of monitoring the property.
• Security personnel casually smoking in front of the building while on the clock.
• Staff members sleeping on duty.
• Overhearing conversations about smoking weed on site—a clear violation of professionalism and security expectations.

For two consecutive nights, I had negative interactions with multiple staff members that demonstrated their incompetence and lack of respect for the job. Spear Security’s presence does nothing to instill confidence in tenant safety or ensure the integrity of the property they’re hired to protect.

If you’re considering hiring a security company, I’d strongly advise against Spear Security unless you’re comfortable with low-quality service and unprofessional behavior from their employees.
